Dot is a staff accountant with FredrickZink & Associates, assisting the audit practice.  After graduating from Fort Lewis College with a BA in Accounting, Dot moved to Denver to begin her career working for KPMG International.  There, she worked with clients from a variety of industries including Fortune 500 oil and gas companies, hospitals, universities, tribal governments, and many non-profit organizations.  She moved back to Durango and joined the firm in December 2006.

Dot was born in Texas and lived there until her family moved to Durango when she was a freshman in high school.  Since then, she’s lived a variety of places including Washington, D.C., where she was a congressional intern. 

At FredrickZink & Associates, Dot works with businesses from nonprofit ventures to homeowners associations and a variety of other industries.  She is currently working toward her CPA certification.  As soon as she obtains her CPA, she will begin working towards her lifelong ambition: obtaining her pilot’s license

Dot enjoys all forms of physical activity including golfing, running, cycling, and lifting weights.  She’s happiest when she’s in the water and when she’s not working she can be found swimming, scuba diving, and wakeboarding.   She also enjoys traveling, cooking, skydiving, and spending quality time with her husband, friends and family.
