Sidny K. Zink, CPA, is an owner of FredrickZink & Associates, PC, and leads the firm’s audit practice.  She is also the firm’s Vice President of Marketing. She has primary responsibility for the design and maintenance of the quality control system over the firm’s audit and accounting practice.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Sid has been a practicing CPA since 1978.  Prior to joining FredrickZinkElliott, PC in 1991, she was a senior audit manager in the Denver office of a national public accounting firm.  She has a broad industry background with a strong emphasis on the not-for-profit segment as well as the construction and contracting industry.

Sid served for several years on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado.  In meeting her continuing professional education requirements, Sid has included advanced training in auditing, analyzing and evaluating construction businesses.  She regularly attends the annual AICPA National Construction Industry Conference which features nationally recognized experts in construction accounting and taxation.

She also was Chair of the Not-for-Profit Committee of the Colorado Society of CPAs for three years and has been a lecturer for the Community Resource Center headquartered in Denver.  She has traveled throughout the state teaching a half-day session on how to read and understand the complex financial statements of non-profit organizations and navigate through an IRS Form 990.

Sid is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Colorado Society of CPAs where she has served as a director and chair of the audit committee. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and New Mexico.  A long-time member of Toastmasters, Sid is an active member of the business and political community. 

A resident of Durango, Sid enjoys cycling with her husband, both on their tandem bicycle and on their Goldwing trike.
